God for this day, whose central message is love. We’re here to celebrate a child who has built a house for his mother. It is a thing of happiness. This is a message to us, that God’s time is the best. I derive strength in the commitment of Kufreabasi Edidem to the development of others. He has placed others first. On behalf of Itu local government Council, I want to thank Kufreabasi Edidem.
If Kufreabasi Edidem has done it, I can also do it.” Barr. Onuk, Itu local government Council Chairman, at the handing over ceremony of the building to a widow built by Kufreabasi Edidem.
“I thank the community for giving Kufreabasi Edidem the support to complete the House without the community stealing materials. This is an encouragement to do more.”
Speaking also, the widow, Madam Akon Edet said, “I thank Kufreabasi Edidem for what God has used him to do for me. My house was a thatch house. God will bless him and others who brought up the issue to the House Member.” The Beneficiary of the building donated by Kufreabasi Edidem stated.
Reacting, the Donor, Kufreabasi, said, “In April 2020, i saw a video in my phone, the location was Urua Ekpa, I knew it was in my Constituency. I sent someone to go see what can be done. I lost sleep when I heard that there was rain again, and the woman crawled out. I did not build the house alone. I want to thank Engr.Anthony Akpanudo, who drew the plan and supervised the building without collecting a dime, and also contributed in doing a balloster for the building at no cost. I thank Jim global, who also donated part of the tiles.
This building is donated on behalf of Koko Foundation, in honour of my late mother.”
“She brought us up with respect, and charged us to always stand by the truth. This building is only the first of Koko Foundation, more will come.” –
